A Day in the Valley

Your adventure in 6 simple steps

1️⃣ Arrive in the valley
Wild, quiet, completely off-grid — the moment you arrive, the mission begins.

2️⃣ Get your mission briefing
Maps, intel, clues, comms gear, and your objective for the next 2 hours.

3️⃣ Head into the bush
Follow trails, uncover clues, solve puzzles, and work together under pressure.

4️⃣ Beat the valley clock
You get one shot. No repeats. No extensions. The valley runs on its own time.

5️⃣ Lunch by the river
Firepit crackling, good food, good laughs — your debrief begins here.

6️⃣ River Swim + Outdoor shower + Valley time
Relax, wander, swim, breathe. Stay as long as you like (10am–4pm access). Or take one of our workshops!

This is where adventure meets restoration.

Meet the Valley

Whitīkau isn’t just a place… it’s a destination.

A hidden valley deep in the Motu — untouched, quiet, and alive.
Mist rolling off the hills. Sunlight catching the river.
No noise, no signal… just breath, bush, and belonging.

Why it hits different:

  • A valley that feels completely yours for the day

  • A landscape that switches you off the moment you step out of the vehicle

  • A stillness that makes time slow down

  • A sense of isolation that feels magical, not scary

  • Nature that joins the mission — not just sits in the background

What you’ll feel:

✔ That deep exhale the moment you arrive
Excitement as the mission kicks into gear
That “holy crap... we're really out here "energy
The pride of doing something real, wild, and unforgettable

Connection - with your team, the land and yourself

🌿 The valley is more than a backdrop — it’s a character in your adventure.

FAQ Snapshot

View of Whitikau Valley

Do I need to be fit?

No. If you can walk a bush track at a normal pace, you’re good. The experience is about team problem-solving — not marathon running.

Do we need a AWD?

Yes. The Motu Road and access into Whitikau Valley require AWD for safety.
No AWD? No problem — we can transport up to 6 people from our secure parking area.

Will we get lost?

Nope. Your hosts are in the valley with you the whole time, and the missions are designed to be challenging but never unsafe.

Can kids come?

Yes — ages 9+ with an adult

.

Is it Scary?

Not at all. It’s adventurous, immersive, and atmospheric — but not horror, fear-based, or high-risk.

How long does it take?

2-hour mission + BBQ lunch + full-day valley access (10am–4pm).

What if it rains?

We still run missions in light rain (it actually adds to the atmosphere). In severe weather, we’ll reschedule or refund — your choice.

What should I bring?

Comfortable outdoor clothes, closed-in shoes, togs, and a sense of adventure.

Ready to unplug and switch on?

A day in the valley you’ll never forget.

“No fitness needed. Small teams. Hosted the whole way.”
